Piano teacher

Nicole has been a member of the NECOM community since 2010.

In this time she has been an accompanist for “Puddledocks” and “Minisingers”, taught piano and curriculum in many of the local schools.

Nicole is a trained piano, music and classroom teacher with many years of experience in both.

She has completed a Bachelor of Music Education (Newcastle) and a Bachelor of Primary Education (UNE).

She has also completed several levels of Kodaly training and is a passionate advocate of this type of teaching.

Her current work is mostly in the curriculum area.

She teaches at many of the small schools in the region – Hernani, Chandler, Black Mountain and Kelly’s Plains Public Schools and larger ones such as Armidale City.

She also travels to St. Joseph’s, Uralla and St. Patricks’s, Walcha each fortnight.

One of her weekly highlights is teaching the K-2 choir “Minisingers” at Necom.

She is an innovative and creative teacher who enjoys working with children.
